Flax Egg
This flax egg is a great egg replacement in many vegan baking recipes. It is cheap and easy to make.

Servings: 1 Egg
- 1 tbs flaxseed meal (also called ground flaxseed)
- 3 tbs hot water
Add together the flaxseed meal and hot water. The water does not have to be boiling, as hot as you can get it from the sink works.
Let sit for 5 minutes, or until it has started to thicken up, and become a gooey, goopy texture.
This makes enough to replace one egg, so scale up as you need for your baking.
